Hi all,

I have been researching various clutches for my 90 Toyota 4x4 PU. What I am looking for is something more than stock, but not quite a racing clutch. This is my daily driver, but driving in South Florida has a lot of stop and go traffic. I have a 119k on this truck, bought it when it had 114k.

Possibly Mods in the near future will be the following:

Headers
Clutch and flywheel- want to have these ready in case the clutch goes belly up.
New Top end with high performance goodies-as Ill be upgrading tires within the next 3 or 4 months.
This maybe crazy but didnt the Celica's have a supercharger that went on the 22RE, all I need is on demand one if not, Ill stick with the 4 banger.

thanks,

Mark

I have had good luck with centerforce clutches. Not saying they are the best, but they are good. What kind of lift are you looking for? Now that all Old Man Emu springs are made in asia, the price has come way down. I would suggest looking into those unless you are wanting more lift than just a couple of inches.

Hi,

Nothing too extreme, probably a couple of inches. Now, since I have an IFS suspension, do I have to torque down or extend the torsion bars. Is there a good shop that can do a body lift in S Florida.
I do not have tools, nor do I know anyone local from here to help me out with it. If someone is close by Im willing to learn from an experienced wrencher.
