Thanks for all the input. I'm thinking Porter Cable should be more than adequate for all my needs as a teepee owner. Redoing poles, thatching roofs, building meat-drying racks, making toy soldier for the little papooses to kick and abuse, etc! Hell, I might even build a hitching post for my iron horses. porter will be more than adequate for a homeowner,,, ya know, for limited occasional homeowner type use campbell housfeld is adequate....but you always want to get the best tool for the budget. have you had a look on your local craiglist, i see some very good quality tools and very reasonable prices all the time.

You're correct about the best tool for the budget. I gave up buy poor quality crap "just to get by" a long time ago. Thanks for the idea.....I'll check craigslist. :cheers:
