Recently acquired a well used winch and decided to give it a full refresh before installing it.

Found WARN "rebuild" manual online but it's more like a "replace" manual. I've sourced the wear parts, but am having trouble with the brushes and studs that broke off during disassembly. Anybody happen to have a source for those?

Some pics of the thing below:

When I first brought it in

Those are some dirty solenoids

Took some major prying to get the end cap off

But eventually, all came apart

After cleaning everything and having the drum powder coated (I'll be using a synthetic cable, so the PC should last)

Ready for reassembly at this point, at least of the drive side.

This pic shows the really bad situation. Inside the yellow circle is the stud the brushes are spot welded to. This is the part I am in need of. I called WARN and they said "welp, you can buy a new motor". For $200. I'll pass thanks.

These are the rest of the stuff on the outside. I know I need to replace one of the lower ones, but I'd like to replace both of the lower ones. I can only assume the next time a wrench touches the single remaining one (lower right), it will also shear.

Hi Andy! Thanks for checking in on this, I'm super surprised!

Your customer service was actually my first stop. I was simply informed those internal motor parts were unavailable, and that I should just purchase a new motor. I am much more of a "fixit" type, and would rather put the good parts to good use. Is there anybody in particular who might be willing to dig a little deeper?

Thanks,
Dave
