rears up front

Just started my build on my 85 on a very tight budget im thinking about rears up front , how much lift will that give and do i have to relocate the front and rear hangers????

I did this very mod on my old 85 4runner. I got about 2 inch lift and I removed the over-load leaf. You can use the stock hangers but will need longer shackles. Remember that rear springs up front will move the axle forward 2.25 to 2.5 inches. I used stock steering for a while but my truck my not very fun to drive on the street. Cross-over steering will solve this problem. I ended up adding a Rancho add-a-leaf and got 4 inches of lift with pretty good flex. Good luck.
