My 2019 Sequoia has a rear window that suddenly started going up and when it hits the top it goes back down (halfway) I know this is a safety feature. I have cleaned and lubed the glass and rubber gasket, disconnected/reconnect the battery, tried pushing the glass up as it went, tried holding it down as it went. No joy. A mechanic here in Mexico said the sensor needs to be replaced. I cannot find any information about this. Is there a separate sensor that can be replaced, or is it integral to the motor that has to be replaced? If anyone can point me to a solution, or knowledge about the parts to replace, I would greatly appreciate it. Cheers from Baja!

I got this fixed. A guy suggested that I redo the "reteach the car the window travel path" routine, which I had tried before with no success, but he suggested making sure the ignition switch was on, which I had not done. That solved it! Thanks
