rear window defog interior delete panel

hey guys,
my DLX 4runner doesnt have the rear defog system or the electric mirror options in it.
Therefore, the little panel below the left most driver ac vent has this absolutely useless 2" wide and 2" deep pocket.

Since I got some sweet Hella 450 driving lights for christmas, i thought that this would be the perfect place to mount my new factory toyota fog light switch.

My question is, was there ever a panel that just had the rear defog switch in it and no power mirror switch? you will see what i mean in the pic.

Basically, i want one of these panels to snap into my dash to mount my fog light switch in, but i dont need the power mirror switch for obvious reasons.

And of course they are discontinued so i will have to junkyard score one.

There is an option for a defog only panel but it is disco. The part # is 55441-89107-13 for a gray panel with defog and no mirror switch. Hope that helps.

so it exists, but i cant buy one.

does anyone have a picture of this configuration so i can have a picture to reference when i post a "wanted" ad?

i thought about going the sheet metal route, but i would rather a "stock" appearance if i can. I want everything i do on the inside of the truck to appear as though it could have come from the factory that way.

they look pretty cool though.

*Anyone tried a T.P.L. WorldWide Search yet? I remember seeing those as available a little over a year ago still for some of the Saudi left hand drives. You can always go the route of finding a donor panel to cut a piece out of and try the plastic repair route.

how do you do the world wide search? never heard of it.
 
Here's a pic of the panel... still has a useless pocket though.

My 88 DLX had no defroster or power mirrors. Was doing some work back there one day and noticed the body harness for the defroster is there. After hunting I scored this panel with the defrost button, the defroster resistor and the tailgate with wiring & glass. The tailgate wiring has a few more wires for the defrost.

that pocket is even more useless than the one i have! lol.
thanks for the pic.
maybe i will go for the one with power mirrors and defrost and find something else to put in the power mirror hole?
