Rear Transfercase Seal

Decided to check out the 4spd / 3spd tc before putting it in my PIG. When I pulled the e-brake drum I found that the rear output seal is shot. I looked the number up here and gave it to the local industrial supply house to cross reference. They told me that seal NOK AD2651E cross references with CR 17754 and is $3.31 before tax. Just thought I would share the knowledge.

If you're going to use a seal other than stock, be certain that it's double lipped to seal out the dirt and seal in the oil.

I thought mine was shot and still leaked after a new OEM seal. The drum outershaft did not seal up. I end up taking the drum to a machine shop and they built it back up with brass. No mess, drip, or spills...

Napa also offers a speedi sleeve to repair the drum shaft with.
