in respect to the 40, i like the swing arm that holds the tire and extra gas cans. swing the arm out and get in the back. the idea works with the hard and soft top, but could it work on the new FJ? does anyone know of anyone making a swing arm for the new FJs? One with switchable features. Say you want to cross country, and you need gas cans. Could you throw the extra tire on the roof rack and use the swing arm to mount extras like tanks, tools, shovels, axes and such? If you wanted to leave the extra tire on the top, and you aren't using the swing bar, mount an addition to the bar that flushes the existing tire mount so its not noticable. anything like that made, or would there be a use for it?

i also like the swing out spare tire carriers. the only one i have seen come with new rear bumpers lot of money the get the tire carrier.

Kaymar is making one and All-Pro has a pic at the bottom of their home page that shows the add on they are making.

thats sharp. didn't have the time to log in and get look around the site. whats his price? it looks like you can order it a whole lot of different ways.

well as far as i know Kaymar's isnt released yet and they are still working on the price...and allpro doesnt list the price on the website but i really like their rear bumper set up so i think i will call them and ask, for allpro i know the tire part is an attachment seperate from the rear bumper the rear bumper costs about 700 so i need to find the add on price for the attachment.
