I decided to take out my rear seats. After a couple camping trips it became apparent that I'd be better off taking them out and gaining a lot more cargo space.
This is what my sleeper panel used to look like. One end rests on a lip on the back of my cargo box. The support piece rested on the folded down seat. It was enough room to slide in my stove, camp chair, etc.
I took the support piece off the sleeping panel. The plan is to have a metal "frame" built to support the panel. This frame will cover the "low" section of the floor from behind the seats to where the old seat bolts on. My goal is to have a solid support for my sleeper panel as well as a solid attachment point for my Hi-lift as well as some Scepter water cans and what not.
Access to the "high" portion of the floor will be unimpeded and filled with whatever crap i care to shove in there.
Since the new frame won't be fabbed up for another week or so I'm still coming up with ideas and looking for any recommendations or considerations.
