One installation note:

Since the rear channel support is for an fj40 there are no holes for the tailgate hinges or for the license plate bracket.

the tailgate hinge holes are easily drilled with no obstructions behind them. With a little finesse, nuts easily go on the bolts for the hinges. BUT

The license plate bracket is another story. There is a vertical sheet metal support on the drivers side near the outer body mount that is in the way for two of the holes for the license plate bracket. Again, not a problem on an fj40 since the bracket is on the tailgate. Originally on a 25, these would have been welded captive nuts I believe. Removal or bending of the support is required to get nuts on the bolts.

Made the drive to pick up the 25 at Mike's today. :steer: Haven't had a chance to really study it (off the trailer and into the garage tonight) but I'm more than happy with the ton of work he put into it. :D Can't wait to check it out this weekend.
