Wanted Rear seat to fit FJ40. (West Coast only)

I know I can go find a seat at a junk yard and build my own frame but I don't have the time or equipment right now. I am looking for a seat to fit the back of my FJ40. Preferably one that is ready to bolt in. I am looking to spend up to $100 depending on the qaulity and condition. A good location would be West Coast states (North California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada.)

I found a guy selling a fold and tumble seat out of a samurai.
I took the idea from Gary at Mudrak.
I believe a traker seat will work also.
I picked mine up for 20buck on ebay and slapped it in that night.
works great IMHO..

You will need to drill holes and provide mounting hardware...and I would consider backing plates on the bottom of the floor.


There are not any aftermarket seats that will attach to existing holes.

Yup, I had to drill some holes and fab some backing plates.
but like I said had it in there in a few hours. and I am by no means
a DIY type. Good luck let me know if you find something else..

I went GEO Tracker rear seat...The 2 front mounting holes matched up perfectly with 2 of the excisting body mount bolts..had to drill 2 holes for the latch...done!
