Hello,

If I wanted to route power from my starter battery to the back of my vehicle - what’s the best way to do that?

I’m looking to route thick wire (4-6AWG) for an additional rear battery and 12v distribution system.

I saw that internal routing is hard because packaging is tight. Is there an existing grommet that’s big enough for thick wires? Or an existing recommended place to drill a hole for a gland that would make it easy to route wire and not vulnerable to moisture and dust intrusion?

Thank you!

Hello,

I ran 4 awg across the back of engine bay, down to the passenger frame rail, and back to the grommet infront of rear wheel well that routes in under the inside side step trim.

Hmm, anyone have a picture of the grommet location?

The thread linked above has a picture of above the grommet, curious where it is exactly under the truck and the diameter. Alternatively, a name that I can search the FSM for will also work.

I ran a 2AWG wire (switched with a 125amp relay so I could cut all power from my SwitchPro (not needed)) down the passenger side of LC to a dedicated fuse box located in jack space, then lead to outlets in the left and right quarter panels along with a power lead to the back of the center console for more USB's

What is the installation depth behind the blue sea usb charging ports? Just wondering if some of the other usb-c sockets would fit in that spot. Thanks
