The fuse for the interior lights and parking lights keeps blowing. Ive changed the fuse several times...with the same results..

I pulled out all of the double filiment break/parking lights then replaced the fuse, turned on the lights (with no bulbs installed) and the fuse blew again.

Im guessing I have a rubbed raw wire or corrosion. What should be the next step? Follow the wires until I find the issue ??? Or ????

I worked on a 40 about 5 months ago with the same problem. Remember, every other light on the cruiser except the headlights and brake lights are on the same fuse (assuming this is a 40). I found the problem in the front turn signal housing. The owner had installed (10 years ago) the aftermarket oem look-a-like later style front turn signals and where the wiring entered the housing, the insulation had rubbed through and was causing a short. Good luck
