Rear locker on >2016 200 series?

I read every build thread I see but they all sort of blur together after a while and I can’t remember if anybody has a rear locker on a 2016+ Cruiser?

I think that’s the year when it went to 8-speed.

is it even possible to put a locker on the newer diff?

if anybody has any experience pls let me know.

Not sure if i should nuke this thread and pick up the other but the conversation on that link suggests that rear locker is ok and the problem is the front...
 
Correct, rear is no problem. Harrop eLockers are available @ Cruiser Brothers (@orangefj45). If you have OBA the ARBs are great too, Slee OffRoad sells them (@sleeoffroad). Both are fantastic quality products and supporting the vendors on here is appreciated greatly.

Yes, we are the US importer for Harrop E-lockers and we sell a number of them for lots of different applications. We also sell re-gear packages, ARB lockers and plenty of other items.
