I have no idea what type of lift or how much it's lifted. But I want to level the truck by removing a leaf out back. I have 6 leafs in total. Which one should I start with?

Looking at that, the third leaf is really your only option.

A 6 leaf pack is already pretty light, you wouldn't want to carry much load (eg. none) with the remaining 5.

Do you currently have standard length shackles? (I'm hoping that some previous owner has put extended shackles in and you can remove those to reduce the ride height)

well u can also drop your height from shackles , if u can upload a pic of shackle that would be jelly good ,, in my opinion if it was my 4x4 i would have removed the 4th one bec i need long leafs to support each other and it will work for long time if i remove 3 one it will give a big gap which will end up in pushing the two leafs (1&2) upwards by the 4 one and in load it might break so i go for 4th .......

I do have longer shackles then factory they are about 9 or 10 inches long. I am planning on the OME medium kit in the future so I want to avoid buying stuff I'm only going to use for a a couple years. However I dive. It not uncommon for my wife and I to pack in 3 tanks each plus full kit. Thank you for your input. Much appreciated.

As a side note, why the third one?

I think I may just bit the bullet and swap to stick shackles and replace the suspension bushings. My next project after my fr axel overhaul is steering components. Probably just build it into my budget. Thank you all for your input.

Swap the shackles for sure, that is already a very light pack. Just buy the ARB shackles now, they are cheap.

That's a good point. Thank you for mentioning that. If I do the greasable shackles now, they are $10 cheaper then OE, and I won't be out of money later down the road.
