I think you are looking at the hoses associated with the heater return? Please see the schematic below. There are some part number variations depending on your specific truck.
87256C seems to be discontinued for all variations listed. However, I think that Gates hose 18773 will cross reference. It may need some cutting.
87246E seems to be available from toyota (99556-30300)--but it's just a straight hose, so any heater hose the correct size should work.

I just used some 5/8 Gates Green Stripe for that front hose. I am not sure now why I didn't order OEM through Toyota. I think when I ordered replacement hoses for cooling system refresh I must have forgotten this one in the order and didn't want to wait to finish the truck up. Gates Green Stripe is some heavy stuff. I remember it being a bit hard to get on the pipes its so thick and heavy to work with. But it seems like it would likely outlast the truck. HTH.

For some reason I was sent a 99556-30500 instead of the 99552-30300. the hose that I got looks a little long compared to the one I have on there now. But it looks Identical. do you think these are Different hoses?
