What is everyone using to plug the firewall holes to the rear heater? Getting ready to delete the rear heat and don't want to have open holes there. Thanks in advance.

The only holes in the firewall are for the bolts that mount the rear heat pipes to the firewall.

The pipes enter the cabin under the heater assembly under the passenger seat. Wits End makes a fancy plug for that hole, but I just used scrap metal on both sides with RTV and nuts/bolts.

The hole itself measures 30 x 40 mm if I remember well. I did cut a corresponding piece of stainless steel of 2 mm thickness. Then used four 5 mm bolts along with RTV sealant. Very easy.

This is the hole from the inside. The arrow marks forward.

And this is from outside, below:

Sorry let me clarify, capping the pipes off. Sorry for any confusion..

Grab some 5/8 hose and hit the hardware store plumbing section and buy some pex water pipe plugs.

Didn't even think of that. Good cheap fix thanks.
