Rear hatch filling with water

We've had some pretty good rain storms the past couple days and as I was putting groceries in the back of the cruiser, water started draining out of the top hatch.

anyone else experience this?

the previous owner removed the rear wing with a garage door, but the holes are plugged with copious amounts of silicon. and the amount of water that came out was more than I would expect if one of them were leaking.

its seems more like the run off from the roof is sitting on the weather stripping on the top and seeping into the hatch.

Is the window seal itself is leaking?

I believe there should be weep holes to let any water drain out of the hatch and doors, so probably worth checking if those are clogged
