The last time I tried, a 4x4 axle was a diff spline than a 2wd. What are you going to do with this truck, drive it on the road? Does it seem to have enough power?? can you use 5th?? I have been running mis-matched gears for 10 years in my truck, but I don't drive it in the snow on the road and I have manual hubs. I just kick it out of 4x4 while backing up.
