Rear Driver Side Ambi Door Handle

Hi,

How do you remove the chrome inside door handle on the drivers side ambulance door? I have the 2 cables off that operate the releases at the top and bottom of door but can't see how to get the handle off. I have a 1975 with the square tire holder on the drivers side for reference.

My '77 had a set screw in the handle that contacted the square rod coming out of the mechanism

There is a tiny pin that you have to push or pull out.

Thank you, I saw a notch in the trim around the handle and knew there had to be a trick to it.
