Rear door stuck at wits end

my rear passenger side door is stuck shut. I got the panel off and accessed the latch mechanism but cant get anything to budge.
-pulled and pushed door very hard while moving unlatch mechanism - there is some give
-removed plastic dust cover anything else in the way
-pryed with flat head every witch way
-sprayed lube

happened at the window tint shop no idea why it seized... ready for dynamite.

Have you ensured the lock rod is in the "unlock" position? Perhaps the tint boys knocked it out of place at the latch mechanism?

Sounds like a job for a slender James, don’t think I’ve ever tried one on a 80 series but I have the technology and if inquiring minds need to know…. You may be able to twist my rubber arm.

Might I suggest pulling the opposite side rear door panel so you can see where everything is having the door open and inspecting where and what stuff is/does and that may help you figure out WTF is going on or feel what’s out of place or what needs to be manipulated to achieve your goal.
