rear diff ratio

how do i figure out what ratios are in a stock 81 4x4. going back to the NEW 1982 i bought many years ago i think the 4 speed trucks were standard with 4.11??? thanx , crossy

Thanx, i found that tag and if I'm reading it right this G072 is
is 8" diff with 3.90 ratio and 2 pinion open carrier. I'm going to be parting this thing out so I wanted to know.

Remember they only put 3.90s in for about 8 months, then went to 4.10s.
