I noticed my rear cross brace/shock mount tube looked to have a lot of rust scale coming out of the open ends on the outside of the frame rails. I tried to clean it out some but cannot seem to pass anything through the tube as it seems to be full of scale and dirt. I cannot think it is all scale because the tube seems solid and has no holes obvious in it. Can anyone shed light on if the tube should be hollow or is there an area that is solid? If it is hollow, anybody have a good way to clean it out? Thanks in advance.
