Does the rear courtesy light stay on the doors at all times? I recently replaced the rear passenger side window and after replacing it, the windows ability to be rolled up and down stopped working. The courtesy light on the rear passenger door no longer works either. I noticed that the driver side rear passenger courtesy light remains on at all times when the vehicle is on. Does anyone know where my problem may be regarding the passenger rear?

The lights on the lower part of the door is on with the doors open and is off with the doors closed . I don't think it's normal for that light to stay on with the doors closed, otherwise you'd have a bunch of light from inside when the vehicle is dark.

I'm not sure whats up with your rear passenger door light staying on full time, but your rear driver door sounds like maybe a connection issue when you replaced the window.

Why did you replace the window?

The rear passenger window was broken so I had to replace it. In the process I’m thinking something happened while I unplugged the window switch motor. I guess I could try getting a new motor and seeing if that works

Gotcha. No need to just throw parts at it.

I thought you were chasing an issue with your courtesy light staying on even with the door closed?

Do you also have an issue with your window switch / motor possibly not working? For problems like that you'll just want to test the voltage at the motor and see if it's getting power.
