rear cargo area water leak

Great thread. I'm worried I may have multiple water leaks. It's leaking on both rear quarter windows.

I ordered 3M urethane seam sealer. I hope that's not corrosive to the metal bc I may have to reorder.

As I found out later, after sealing the rear windows, some water was also leaking from the rear hatch area.

While you're there, check the front windshield for leaks and the sunroof drain holes up top and the drain slits down in the rockers.

I checked the back hatch after watching your video and didn't notice anything that looked like water had been running down it. I did notice a spot at the bottom of the vent louvre where it looks like a small leak has developed so I'm glad I ordered new ones. My speaker on the passenger side was shot too. I'll check those other spots you mentioned as well, thanks for the heads up.

Check the other separate threads too, regarding sunroof and windshield leaks.

Will do. I'd like to go around the vehicle and proactively start replacing seals and such before they become a problem. 20 year old vehicle probably has quite a few spots that need re-sealing. I'll check those other threads too. Happy New Years to all!

Many people here advised on taking the factory roof rails out as they cause a lot of leaks and rust. Something to consider too. Happy New Year!
