trying to overhaul the axel, just ran into a road block. Need to pull the hub off .... They are e-lockers not manuals.

Please note that one of the torx bolts has a "pin" or something blocking it. Pictures first.
 
Oh I will eventually.

As a side note. The little "block off" in the torque bolt in the first picture... It was the broken end of a bit the previous owner/mechanic left in. All the bolts are torqued waaaay beyond factory spec. I ended up stripping a bolt so I'm dead in the water till I get a new bolt and have time to drill the old one out.
 
I assume pricing new is rediculous?
 
When I ditched my electro hubs I reused the old stub axles and used 60 series wheel hubs and lock hubs. I also retained the locking nut system but got rid of the star screws and used normal posi drive screws. (Phillips head) The locking nut needed a bit machining off it but I find its easier to set the bearings than those fiddly double nuts and tab washer.
