Home Sweet Home...
Sorry for being MIA, fellas. I did make it home!
Weirdest thing was that my transmission was completely fine the entire way home. WTF??? As my id suggests, I'm well versed in the crazy intermittent Audi problems (they often seem to fix themselves). But, on a Toyota? Nonetheless, I shall not bite the hand that feeds me. I really needed the extra gears as I worked my way down I5. I still figure that I should swap out the second solenoid...but maybe it just fixed itself.
Granted, I did pop a tire in Redding. Thank god I had hand torqued all the tires on the rig...the previous owner had them air gunned on so tight that I needed to go down to my mechanic to get them off before I left.
Anyhow, thanks so much for all of your help. When I get my stuff unpacked and pictures uploaded, I'll do a proper intro.
But, in the meantime, my rig in a white 1993 that just crested 200K--I think I got a decent picture of it.

At this point, it is totally stock except for the pioneer deck and speakers (which really aren't all that good, imho. I'm thinking of upgrading already). I have several mods (dual battery, lighting) in mind and will appreciate posting more as I start my way down the slippery slope...I also need to do some pm (phh and perhaps the head gasket). I know, I should have done the phh before I left but it seemed fine to my touch (famous last words, right).
And again, thanks so much for helping a stranger. You guys have an awesome thing going here and I'm looking forwarding to becoming a part of it!
