Putting on my OME lift. Everything going smoothly until I need to remove the old steering damper. I tried all the usual bag of tricks: Pickle Fork, Heat.
I managed to get the top right side off, by removing the bracket, putting it in a vice and using a lot of heat before I hit with the 3lb hammer.
However, I have not been able to get the top/left side off. My bearing pullers do not fit quite right. Any my pickle fork (and blow torch) have destroyed the seals around the joint.

Anyone near San Diego have a pit arm puller that works? Or does anyone know of a Napa (etc) part number for one.
I'm about ready to run the Cruiser over to a shop.
