I am thinking about getting a ready welder for this years trip to the Rubicon. Has anyone own or worked with one? If so what do you rhink about it.

My son has one and it works great for a trail welder.

Which one were you looking at the rig mounted one or the mobile?
We got one for the club and opted for the mobile unit. The only time we used it was to clear a broken rig off the trail so we could get our group through, IMHO a great motive for getting the mobile unit.
