After destroying one of the factory rear side window lock strips. I discovered like most things on our aging trucks that "new" lock strips are NLA or cost prohibitive (and only part of what you need). So began a great internet search for alternatives. There are some great threads on MUD about replacing lock strip with aftermarket black window welt. But I wanted the full glory 1980's bling.
Here is what I came up with.

I ordered the lock strip from JC Whitney and used a total of three 16' kits. One for the front, one for the rear, and one will do both side windows if you are careful.
