rattle can

I am doing the rattle can thing on my doors. I am using gloss protective enamel Rustoleum. Is it advisable to use a clear coat as well? I used a clear coat on my fenders and the clear has lots of little cracks, but the color has not faded much.

Eh. I never did. It might help. But It was one more chance of paint messing up. Rustoleum dulls fast in Florida. Looked about as good as a Macco job. ~Harbor Blue Rustoleum~

i wouldn't clear coat. i did it on the pickle and the cheap rattle can clear coat turned yellow
