I did try the search. I'm new here so I haven't dug too deep but the problem is this stuff has too many names! I have used Raptor Liner (brand name) from Amazon on several projects but of course there is Monstaliner, LineX, etc. etc. I have used it on lots of things including fiberglass van tops, rockers, ladders, bumpers and other small bits on my 4x4 vans over the years. I just bought a 2000 100 series with great paint but the lower body has virtually all of the issues. Mostly just fading on the factory body trim and some uglies around where the running boards were.
If this has been well covered please just link some posts or pics. I have a black ARB bumper and will soon Plasti-dip my Tundra wheels black. I don't want to go black because everyone else does but I just can't look at silver wheels. My idea is to put a band from the lower body trim down even with the ARB bumper all the way around the truck. Here's a pic of a van I did recently, so imagine this around a Land Cruiser.
I haven't seen it done. Thoughts?
