If it is a dash mount ignitionswitch, parts houses here(napa,carquest) have a universal key/ignition switch. I think they run $10-15. easy to put in.

thanks for the info.

the more i've been thinking about it, the more i'd like to put an ignition with a bit more security anyways, so i'll probably end up going that route.

pablo, do you still need the mirror? I found one I forgot I had
it has the mount to screw to the windshield frame and the mirror. It has two mounting holes.

Paul, the mirror on my rig has three springs that clamp to a post which is somehow connected to the windshield frame. Yes, I am still looking out a cracked mirror and need one.

hey buddy check it out: theres a guy in california that has an F/3spd/3spd case out of a 71 that wants to just give it away.hes on pirate4x4.com.the ad is in engines/tranyys for sale go like 3 -5 pages in and youll see it. theres your case ;) :D

Woohoo, I don't check in for a few days and look what happens.

Tony, thanks, I'll contact you direct. The case is cast iron, single speed in/out, centered rear output w/ an external band parking brake.

Paul - thanks, the FJ25 used a 16" rim with a backspacing of about 2 1/2", with a single oval hole cut in the center section, w/ or w/o hub cap clips. As far as I know unique to the 25 although I've seen illustrations of very early 40's with the same wheel.
 
75 - 77 FJ40 wiper motor

I'm looking for a 75 - 77 FJ40 wiper motor that is in good working order. I have a wiper motor from my old 78 that still works perfect. I tried using the 78 motor but the motor is too big for the shell casing. If anyone wants to trade or sell their motor let me know.

Looking for a Late Model Windshield Frame "Complete" with motor and wipers and motor cover. Must Be RUST FREE !!! from States CA AZ NV NM ??? OR and WA. If it needs a little sand blasting thats ok but I'm not looking for somthing as thin as Tin Foil.

I will email a person I know who has factory chassis manuels. Not sure about the engine manuel, I have one that will be pried from my dead cold fingers someday.

I have a very clean unit from a BJ60? Not sure if it matters that there was diesel in it, sure is clean.
Live in Canada and not sure about shipping of such a item. Make me a offer.

Winch/Driveshaft

I'm looking for a working winch and driveshaft for an FJ40.

James quoted me 400-600 dollars complete..but never got back to me...i found one from another guy for 400 complete...with a "cracked" foot...well it turns out the foot FELL THE F### OFF IN SHIPPING so not so good a deal..but i got the entire set up from PTO gear to winch..the foot i can fix...just kind of upset that it wasn't stated outright in the dealings...also the PTO driveshaft lengths are diffrent from 3 to 4 spds because the tranny lenghts so you will have to get a 3spd driveshaft lenghtend if its on a 4spd set up...but other than that it should bolt right up...

fj-40 oem original soft top parts wanted
