Wanted- Rebuilt Low Mileage F Motor

Does anybody have a low mileage rebuilt f motor they want to part with? I live in pa, but will pay to ship it, if the price is right. But can pick it up, if its close. My motor needs a rebuild and if somebody has one, I can't see spending the time and effort rebuilding the one I have. Feel free to drop me a email. Thanks, Pete

wtb: tubing bender

just an option for a new unit. I called JD2 on thier model 3 and got a 25% discount on the whole order if I purchased at least 6 benders. So far I have 3 people lined up.

WTB Spring hangers / used 4" lift springs

I am looking for some decent spring hangers. OEM, greasable or not, does not matter. Need two but would take 4 if the price is right.

Also need 4" lift springs. front and back. anything but Hell Creek would be fine.

Let me know what you have. and a price, Trade for anything.
Application is for a 1970 FJ 40.

Thanks

Re:WTB Spring hangers / used 4" lift springs

if you were closer i might have to take a few pieces from you, LOL

SOA and be done with it, mine hasnt finish settling yet i am with in an 1" of a 4" lifted buddies fj40. NO cut and turn.

spring hangers? you mean shackles? greasable shackles.

Re:wanted fj40

Why no odd yrs? just curious as i have never heard that before.

rattle free, well you are looking to purchase a over 95% steel vehicle.

you might be able to get both from BTB, they had one done for a customer that had all nice interior i think leather, and sound insulation, and other crap in it, but i believe it was like $55,000 or more.

Early brake master

I've got one off of my 70 pig. It's yours for shipping and a . Here's a pic with the master in it...

It worked when I upgraded to power booster and discs. But if you've got it out, rebuilding is always a good idea. (if you can even get a rebuild kit)
All I remember was the crappy braking. Pump, pump, pump, pump..... But then again, that was with drums all around too. Where are you located?

Power Steering Bearing

This part can be bought at your local bearing shop for about $20.00. Its called a pillow block, you'll need one with a 3/4" hole to fit over the 19mm cruiser steering shaft. You'll have to sand/grind a little off the cruiser shaft to make it fit. You could probaly even get one from your local tractor supply if you don't have a bearing shop close, so save your money and buy one local.

Power Steering Bearing

The other thing that this guy does not tell you is that you will need to enlongate the holes in the bearing, if you are going to use this style...

I do not have the part number, but there is a bearing that I have at the shop that fits into the Toyota column, between the five hole base mount and the four bolt part of the column base.

This bearing is only a couple dollars, and can be procured pretty easily at any bearing house.

I will get the number today when I get out to the shop, and PM you with it...

WTB Spring hangers / used 4" lift springs

I guess you would also call them Spring Pins. their on the other end of the spring. not the shackles. But if you have some shackles I need them too, would like 1.5 inch over stock..

For curiousity. How did you do the SOA without cutting and turning the front axle? ??? that may be a viable consideration for me. as I am putting this back on the road soon.

Please let me know. or send me some pics.

Thanks
