Update 2/10/20: Group buy has closed.
___________________________________________________________

I am looking to purchase a cargo barrier to improve the storage options and safety inside and my vehicle so I reached out to Raingler so see if they would be willing to offer a group buy deal for Land Cruiser / Toyota owners. They obliged with this sale depending on how many people plan to place an order the discount will grow:

If 25 or more we’ll make it 25% off merchandise.

If you would like to place an order please responds below or send me a PM and I will add you to the list.

Fine print: Shipping is not discounted. The discount can apply to any products on the site but an order would have to be $100 or more to be qualifying for the GB and must include at least one qualifying Toyota/Lexus Specific item. Raingler will provide the discount code to me and I will privately share it with you all via PM. The code will be valid for a few days so everyone can place their own separate orders and Raingler we will ship to each individual.

Cargo, barrier and dog safety nets - Raingler Nets
Made in the USA. Lifetime warranty

For those of you that don't know, most Raingler products are made to order to accommodate custom options like color and materials. The lead time for most of these group buy products is 45-60 days to delivery so planning for upcoming events and dates may be a consideration. I hope to have mine before Cruise Moab in April so right now my aim is to get the code and place my order around Feb 8th.

If you have any experience with Raingler products I'd appreciate your feedback. Right now I am planning to buy the Behind 2nd Row Seat Rear Barrier Divider Net with standard Net Webbing in beige and drop-down hooks. I am also considering the attic and grab handle products.

Feel free to mention this to your other Toyota owning friends, 4x4 clubs and family members. The more the marrier. Their site and youtube have good install videos for most of their products if you want to learn more.

So should we wait until 2/8 to purchase so we know how much the code will discount?
Yes, next week after I have a good count of those interested I'll let Raingler know and they will generate a code for us to use.

FYI: I was looking at these and just couldn't believe how expensive they were. I ordered one from amazon for $24 and modified it by sewing two straps on it and it works awesome. (I have a 2016 LX)

I did have to sew on straps that run around the back handles, through these strange clip things on the sides and then through a loop I bolted to the back of my ARB drawers. I can show how I did it if someone is interested but it was simple.

You’re comparing apples and ...fake apples.

The Raingler mesh is milspec 216lbs psi, and the webbing is 800lbs psi.

If I have my recovery bag in the rear, or anything of substantial weight in a small package, gallon of water, can of food, etc etc, there’s no way I’m trusting that amazon product to keep that item from crushing the skull of my children, in an accident. Even something as light as a box of cereal could do serious damage to my 18mo old’s face, in her fear-facing car seat, where something in the rear to come through.

If you’re just wanting something to function like a screen door that deters your dog from coming through, then the amazon product is fine. But hoping it will restrain a dog in an accident is another story.

Only you know what you’re wanting, but they are two very different products. And you having drawers makes your situation different as well.

A buddy of mine talked me into one before I saw the price. He has been in two rollovers while offroading (jeepers, lol), one with gear secured by a Raingler barrier and one without. He was pretty lucky that a toolbox just grazed and cut his arm, it could have been way worse if not deadly. For added safety, custom fit, made in America product that will last, the price is more than acceptable to me. Ideally, my gear would always be tied down, secure or in a drawer but that isn't always practical. Everyone's use case and needs are different but for me, this is exactly what I want.

We got 15% off already. I'm still hopeful we can hit 25 people to get 25% off. I plan to get the code on Wednesday.

Need your guys opinion...I’m debating between the Clean install attic net and the Ez install attic net

Looks like the Clean install net sits further back behind the 2nd row but hangs lower than the ez install.

the ez install net sits above the 2nd row seats but hangs closer to the ceiling.

I prefer it to be close to the ceiling and behind the 2nd row so it’s least obstructive as possible but it looks like I can’t have both!

Does anyone have any experience with this?

I think the hangs lower part is dependent on what is in the attic and the material. The clean install is the tightest fit to my understanding because it goes to pillar mounts and buckles that can be added. If you got the hybrid with the mesh and webbing then that should sit tight in the rear roof area.

And not all those pics are representative of a 200 and each type of netting available which is beyond me why they wouldn't post each scenario using each product but whatever. If it was me get the clean install with mesh or hybrid for the attic because it is purpose designed for tie down points that maximizes the net and literally designed for the 200. The easy install is just a net that fits the specs and straps to the hand grabs. Some install required for the clean install but they have videos, instructions and it seems rather simple but I haven't installed one yet.

Thanks for the insight. Clean install hybrid was my first choice. Will try their Grab handles while we’re getting a discount. I’ll report back with clean install pics as soon as it’s in!
