Rag Joint Replacement

I have a new rag joint that I need to install. Initially looking at it I figureed a couple of bolts no big deal, but upon another look I started thinking that I may have to move the steering shaft in a bit. Can someone give me a bit of insight on this task?
What all is involved and do I need to pull the steering wheel?

loosen the column from the inside and pickup on it.... there will be enough clearance to change it out....
