I have read thru I don't know how many posts on this topic and the FAQ......and I'm still a bit confused or just a dumb a**

I'm going to use the Prestone Flush kit. Can someone show me where I insert the flush filler tee?

I bought a length of 5/8 hose, so I do not have to cut the OEM hose......just want to insert the "T" temporarly. But for the life of me, I'm not sure which line to tap into.

It seems there are a few different methods to this. I don't want to get crazy and fab up special "T's" , guages, and lines ... just get a good flush.

From the thermostat housing there is a hard pipe that runs back to the firewall and connects to the heater outlet by a short piece of rubber hose. Disconnect this hose and connect your hose with the T-fitting.

I always use about 4 feet of hose with the T-fitting and make a big loop with the T-fitting in the middle and connect in this location. Sorry, I don't have any pics with me at work.

Thanks Dan. Ya, I've seen it connected here too. I have also read that some have connected it to the "L" shaped hose at the heater valve.

I think I plan on connecting it to the hose you discuss.
