1st. step: order to body/shell to the mentioned link, they are the only ones who provide it.
2nd. step: search craiglist for Tamiya CR crawler, used, so you'll save tons of money..

If Budget is not an issue, get a brand new and build it from scratch...

you can build your own, ordering chasis, axles, t/c, etc, but as newbie, I'll go the easy way, a ready to go kit... Tamiya.

With all that in your garage, we can work on the pain job for the shell...

Then, we figure out the best way to build a trailer...

remote, batteries and charger, like $200
shell, like 75-150, I don't remember it...
Snorkel, $29+6 shiping + 2 tax, like $38
paints and stuff, less than $50

so, more or less, we are talking of $1,000 for the toy...

Very cool, wish I could find time or make time. Used to have old school traxxas buggy and truck that got beat but gave to my nephew. He sold um for nothing to buy candy. Never built to match something I own but have seen some great scale versions on youtube of 40's and old 1980's pickups on Bruiser chassis.

thanks, the snorkel was shipped from the r/c store, so should be home in a couple of days...

the shovel needs to be painted, I need to figure out how to build the air deflector to hold it, like mine... and get some paint (brown and silver)

mirrors, I don't think that I want to add mirrors and destroy them in the first roll over...

I was working/playing on my patio R/C waterfall track, and I managed to brake the front locker, same as real life...

so, I'll need some time and $$$ to fix that as well... undo the front axle, what an experience!!!

Dave, I'm wondering if you could order like 20 to a 100 pieces of "R/C trasharoo backs" for the 1/10 R/C vehicles...

price s/b like $10 to $20, not big deal, the profit, well, you are not going to get rich....

but, the advertisement that you will get in the R/C community, priceless!!!

where'd you get the mini logos and stickers? you print them yourself?

Anyways, I’m a Diecast collector, so I traded two Black Bandits (Greenlight) for a Venezuelan convention Van and some stickers to build my own Pablo Montoya Nascar vehicle, I already bought the Indy one, but the Nascar is not available…

Part of the trade was the stickers for the Nascar car, so the guy asked me for logos that I want to complete the full sheet of stickers, so I told him about the forums that I like, and the clubs that I belong, the beer that I like, etc, and he fills the sheet with all those stickers…
