I bought my 60 with out a compressor and didn't want to fork over the cash to fix. I have all the parts except compressor. I don't know what works or leaks. But I could check for leaks. After a thurough check I will put on e-bay. I also have all smog equip off and for sale. :beer:

If that's 50lbs of virgin R12 that's alot of $$ Expect $50/lb at least or 50 x 50 = $2500!! It will be much less if it's recylced R12 that has not been professionally cleaned and filtered.
 
Interesting read. You would never know the rising costs by the prices on single cans at the local auto parts shops.

On a side note, my A/C works great, nice and cold. Just need a new a/c idle up solenoid -- mine has a constant surge from idle up to 1500 rpm. Not a big deal at speed, but sitting at a light or decelerating is pretty hairy with the surging throttle.
