are the right hand drive linkage and motors the same as the left hand drive? just mounted different? or can you use the right hand drive stuff on left hand drive?

oops 78?? frankencruiser lol its the bottom wipers with motor on the right . US model
I picked up a RHD wiper linkage set off eBay from Indonesia to replace the old, rusty set on my 79.
As I recall, I had to switch their linkage parts around a bit to to adapt to my LHD FJ40, but it worked.
I forgot to add, the RHD motors are not interchangeable with the LHD versions! Look closely to see they are mirror images, wrt/ drive and mounting.
The RHD motors are much less expensive, and I considered picking up a set and using them for some parts to rebuild the old ones, but wasn't sure if the internals would match up. Let me know if you go that route. Still curious.

Sweet that's what I was wondering. I don't have any linkage. My motor appears to be working. It moves a bit when powered if not there are good aftermarket ones
