My son and I were on a boy scout camp out, I my son had to use my tent, so I was sleeping in the LC (first and only time to sleep in the LC). About 3 am the alarm went off. Finally, found the keys sand shut it off. Keys were in the front seat so it took a while to find them, but also makes it impossible that I hit the alarm. Didn't think that much of it, other than it was an annoyance to me and everyone camping within the immediate area.

Just the other day, my neighbor's wife (who drives a LX) was saying she lost her spare key in her LX and she had to find it because the alarm keeps going off.

Is that correct that if you leave the key in the LC or LX the alarm will sound after a period of time? Is there a quick and easy what to disable this feature for sleeping in the vehicle?

Never seen that...
Lost one of my fobs in my LC for two weeks (was in the “black hole” under driver).

No alarm, ever. Just inability to wirelessly lock until i found and removed it.

Thanks for the response.

What year and did you lock the doors and then this happened later on? I've got an '08 and never had an issue. I sleep in the 200 if its a short camping trip and never had that happen.

2018. I doubt I locked the doors, do recall for sure but 98% confident I would not. It happened well after I had gone to sleep.
