Hello all,
In 2023 I inherited my dad’s 96 80 series with 73K miles. I had some work done to get it drivable as he hadn’t driven it much in the preceding 5 or so years. So now I have a black 96 LC and a black 2016 LC. As my kids will soon need their own means of transportation, I’m considering simplifying my life and letting the 80 series go. I’ve actually never personally sold a vehicle (always drive them for years and just trade in). So my question to the experts is what is the best route to reach the right audience? I’ve heard BAT can be a good source but thought I would also get the formum’s wisdom.

Thanks,
Keith

Hi Keith,

BaT is probably a good option, but I do like to try first for fee-free options.

This would be first, the classifieds here. Second, Craigslist.

From there, there's Facebook Marketplace and some other sites. If it doesn't have promising bites in a few weeks, could try BaT.

List it here in the classifieds. Provide a good description, post some good pics (can’t ever have too many pics). You want pictures of everything including undercarriage. Facebook marketplace can be hit or miss, lots of clowns there.
