Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone had some advice on the water pump. I have a 2007 gx470 with 82000 miles. My radiator was toast so I decided to go ahead a do the timing belt. I ordered the aisin kit and waiting for arrival. Anyway after removing everything, my water pump was leaking on the bottom right corner. I have a new one coming but has anyone used rtv with the gasket? My belt still looked new by the way. Thanks for any input!

i may have put a small amount of rtv, but dont go crazy. You dont want it flaking off into the water pump and potentially causing blockages or problems
