Call or email ARB. They'll talk to you and a lot of times they've had this question before.

I've asked the good folks at Slee off road and they said there is very little aftermarket support. Most everything needs to be custom modded from Tundra parts.

I did install Bilstein front lift shocks on mine and am happy with them.

All,
New to this site (been spending time on Expedition Portal) but saw this thread. I have been in the market for a front bumper and as indicated, very little support for 1st Gen Trees.. Southern Offroad in Cumming also said Tundra bumpers won't fit. Apparently Tundra is narrower than Sequoia. I did find a place out in CA that now makes a 1st Gen bumper and am contacting them today (Bruteforcefab.com). Can update based on what I find. I hear they are also planning a rear bumper :)

Also, Tactical Armor Group's bumper for 1st gen (-04) can fit on an 05-07 if you swap out to a Tundra/Sequoia grille (-04). I called about it but don't want to trade out my grille. $800 isn't a bad deal for a sweet bumper. I'll have to check out Brute force. Nothing on their site that I saw for Sequoia's, but judging by their custom fab page they could do it!!

My brother build custom bumpers here in North Florida, so that may be a good option for people on the East Coast.

Good input FLNewt - I have seen a Bruteforce bumper sent to a customer and they actually fabricate that extra grill piece on later 1st Gens into the design... looks pretty cool. I'll check out your suggestion as well. Thanks.

I would be EXTREMELY interested in seeing the bumper with the extra grill piece. Have any pics or know where I could find some pics?

I spoke to Billy at Bruteforcefab.com today. He sounds like a good guy and is a one-man show. Currently has several Sequoia bumpers on order. Lead time is about 8-10 weeks; cost approx $1000.

Heck yea, man!!! That thing looks great!! Pretty similar to what I was thinking of trying to do with my brother in law.

Forgot to add... The cost is for a raw metal bumper. From there you can have it painted, powder coated, etc. I'm considering using a rhino-liner and maybe doing my rear bumper and side steps to match

Recently we acquired a 2002 Toyota Tundra with low mileage. Great truck. We have a farm in rural western Oregon where the deer are plentiful, especially on the roads right around dusk. As veteran Land Cruiser owners we are familiar with the ARB bull bumpers. Our favorite was the non-winch model we had on our 1994 FJ80 Cruiser wagon. Simple, strong, attractive. We would like to put something similar on our Tundra but apparently ARB only makes the Sahara version which does not protect the front corners and sticks out a disproportionate amount from the body. The view from the side is particularly unattractive.

Does anyone on this forum know if we can use one of the ARB Land Cruiser bull bumpers on our 2002 Tundra? We have a 1999 100 series Land Cruiser wagon, I measured the width of the factory bumper and compared it to the width of the bumper on the Tundra, they are within a half inch at close to 74 inches nominal. It seems with a potential change to the mounting hardware, the ARB bumper for the 1999 Land Cruiser could fit the Tundra. Better yet would be using the ARB bumper for the FJ80 Cruiser on the Tundra.

Has anyone tried this before? What does it take to make it work? Please advise and thanks.

None for 05-07 Sequoias...

So it cannot be made to fit then? The later front ends have that little section that goes around the grill whereas the earlier grill is flat, right?

You can fab up anything you want. It's not made for the 05-07, but you could switch to the previous grill and headlight if you'd like. Apparently Toytech and Brute Force Fab in Cali make one for the 05-07, as is mentioned above by 07Quoia. Follow the link to Expedition Portal. You need to sign up to see the pic but it's worth it!!! The bumper is SWEET.

I was at the Addicted Offroad shop today talking with Scotty and their bumper for the Sequoia is pretty damn nice! He put one on his AC Tundra and I'm strongly considering putting one on my 06 DC Tundra. I'll see if I can cross post the picture of his sequoia with the bumper...

I'm think the addicted one is the way to go. I'm leaning towards keeping my 01' tree and building it up as much as I can.
