sup fellas,

lookin at treeroot's yard sale and thinking about gettin his quarter panels.

my question:
what is the difference between the 9/72-78 quarters and the stuff that is on my 3/72?

i know that the sheet metal is thinner on the later ones, but outside of that is there anything that would keep me from just puttin those on my junk?

thanks,
malphrus

The later Cruisers had ambulance doors instead of a tail gate so the rear lip is different. I put an early quarter on ,y '76 but my son (the body man), had to cut out and re-fab a new lip for where the ambulance door meets the quarter.

my rear sill is shot and i will be fabbing up one to replace it.
is that what you're talkin about?

What about the fuel filler hole? This one would be for the lockable fuel door style. If yours has the rounded hole with no door, that would be a difference.
