No I still have the issue. I’ve started using the ECP Power button which seems to keep the revs in a better spot to avoid the problem. I still plan to have the injectors serviced soon, hopefully that’ll have an effect.

Mine didn’t even start doing this until six months after putting brand new OEM injectors on. Did you have the ECU serviced?

I did have the ECU serviced. That fixed some other issues with shifting and warning lights, but didn’t change the acceleration pulsing.

I’m suspicious that it’s the fuel pump itself and I very much want to put in a mechanical pump.

What's the verdict? I have a similar issue to the original post with mine. Seems like a really gentle surge or oscillation in mine, only noticeable above 70mph or so. I notice it other times, but never at idle or during acceleration. Typically only when cruising.

Unfortunately still no verdict. I still get the oscillation/surge occasionally. I’m going to have the injectors serviced soon, hoping that fixes the issue.

When you do get a chance to service it, would you mind sharing the name of the shop as well? I'm in the DMV area and looking for a good diesel mech for future PM service, TIA.

For sure man. Already had a chat with these guys. They offer an injector rebuild service for this motor. I’ll let you know how it goes! Not local to DMV obviously but hoping for good results.

There's a filter on the map sensor that gets clogged, have heard of those causing issues before. So easy to check, it's worth a peek.

I,ve the same problem. rebuild Fuel pump and injectors. changed Ecu with the Surf it did make a sloghtly difference but the problem is there. I,ve Heard about the map sensor filter but Mine doesnot have the filter.
