I would like to have the remote start option for winter here in AK. I've read some posts on the forum that the Toyota system is a little bit of a nuisance to use but would still prefer it since its the factory option. I found a couple of units for sale, but I have never installed something like this. Has anyone here installed their own remote start on a 200-series? If so could I ping some questions off you please? Dealer quoted me north of $700 to install which is why I am looking to do it myself.
