I got a DM from a member last night that said someone emailed them saying they were me. Sadly, it was not. This member did pay for the part, hopefully they can get their money back. If the scammer did this once, it’s highly likely they have or will do this again, whether it’s me or another member or vendor.
A few points:
1- Any email addresses from me will come from @cruiseryard.com. Never from a gmail, yahoo, etc. You can see my sig for my email or use the Contact Us form on the site to get in touch with me.
2- I don’t email people telling people my handle, there is no need to. See point 1.
3- Be smart. If you are unsure, DM me on here. Trust but verify.
