I thought I would post some photos of Proffitt's FJ25 Soft Top. It was out at Cruiser Fest Yesterday and I had not seen a soft top 25 before.

Nice with all the scratches, dents & some rust.... would be a shame to restore it.;)
You need a dry humiditiy to keep a car in such a condition.
Cheers
Peter

Simple, functional, and clean in design. Great cruiser! MIke

Beautiful.

Very cool- perfect condition just like that.

Man they just painted everything on the early trucks. I like it!

What is that screen for on the apron?

That is a fresh air intake. Connects to the oil bath air cleaner with a hose.

Only two things I would do to this 25.

1. Fix the radio hole in the dash.

2. Get the correct gas cap. Either locking or non-locking. The locking one is cool but the non-locking one is just as cool as it has TEQ stamped into it.

3. Drive it into the Garage and store other Landcruiser crap in and around it
  • Fixed it for you John

Boy is this a tuff crowd. I put just a few parts around a cruiser and I get this:rolleyes: I don't see where the problem is two of my 25s are where I put them eight years ago.:frown: No parts stacked around them:bounce2:. One of them doesn't have anything in the interior not even the seats. The third one is parked next to a 61 FJ40 with a 63 FJ40 soon to be parked on the other side. It's in pretty good company.:D The fourth has plenty of room in the garage where it's parked. The 76 parked next to it in the third picture is now parked behind the 45. I even installed the FJ25 wheels and hub caps without having to move a thing. Hopefully by the end of the weekend I will be working on the 73 in my garage here in the valley.:bounce2: Starting to get the room thing figured out it time that's still the problem. I am still missing a early Koito head light you won't happen to know where it is?
