I have a set of old 33x12.5 kicking around. They not a bad tire. But once they get worn down they vibrate like crazy. (i guess i could probably take them to the tire shop and get them evened out). But anyway for the price, they are not bad. I ran them on my 80 for a while, they were decent in the mud, but i dont think they really compare to a BFG MUD T/A.

yup....they got spome balancing issues

I have a like new set of 285 Xterrains with 5000 mi that are good
BUT
I don't like them as much as my Wild Country RVT mud tires.

If I could sell the Xterrains for the price of the Wild Countrys I would buy another set of the RVT's

Im running pro comp 35 muds on my dd tacoma and im very happy with them. they look good after 20 k on them and i think ill get 40 k miles before ill need to replace them ( might buy another set of the same). buddy of mine is running the x-terrains and they are much more wore out and he has about 10 k miles on his set of tires. maybe a softer compound. plan on running pro comp a/t when time comes for the 80. cant beat the buy 3 get 4 price.

I have the X-terrains on my 80 and they have shown almost no wear 3,000 miles. They are very capable.

3,000 isn't much. These XTerrain tires will wear exponentially. I swear it. THEY SUCK! They were great on slick-rock as they hardly chirped and gripped their way up stuff.

Rocks/sticks/mud...THEY SUCK.

Highway...THEY SUCK. They begin to wear unevenly and after some research I found that it is by chance that you find a set that doesn't.

I had a set of 35s-even though I had to spend some money on a new set of 4 MTRs, I almost want to thank the person who slashed one.

Now if I could get him back for my MTRs-I haven't been "necessarily" impressed with those either. Especially bang for the buck, they don't "Wow" me at all.

But I digress, as by the year of this thread, I am sure the decision has already been made.
